A water heater contractor with one location and a few core services usually fits Essential or Professional. Enterprise suits companies with several branches or many distinct service areas that each justify their own page.
What drives cost for a water heater company
The short answer: competition, geography and how many buying moments you target.
- Market competition. Ad clicks in the largest metro areas cost far more than in smaller cities. That affects how much ad budget you need, separate from the plan fee.
- Service area. Serving one city is simpler than serving a region with distinct towns and, in Quebec or New Brunswick, two languages.
- Number of campaigns. Urgent replacements, planned heat pump upgrades and rental conversions each need their own pages and messages.
- Your starting point. A site that already ranks needs less rebuilding than one that does not.
A worked example
The short answer: check the plan against your gross profit per job.
Suppose a tank replacement brings in $2,300 and your gross margin is 40%, so each job contributes about $920. The Starter plan, at $2,998 a month plus GST/HST, needs a little over three extra jobs a month to cover itself before ad spend. If you also run $1,500 of ads, you need about five extra jobs. If your crew can take eight to ten more jobs a month, that is a reasonable test. If you are already full, start smaller, for example with a website package, and add a plan when capacity grows. Use your own numbers; the method is the point.
How to choose
The short answer: start with the free trial and a plain question.
- Take the 7-day free trial. It includes a marketing audit, website performance check, SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking. No credit card is needed.
- Tell us your capacity. How many more water heater jobs a month can you actually install?
- Pick the smallest plan that fits. You can move up later; there is no lock-in.
Anything a buyer would want in writing, such as notice periods or exactly what is included, is confirmed in your proposal. For the full, current price list, see HVAC.Agency pricing. For proof, see our results. To talk it through, contact us.
Frequently asked questions
Is ad spend included in the plan price?
Plan prices cover our work. Advertising budgets paid to Google or Meta are separate. Exactly what is included is confirmed in writing in your proposal.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. If your current site is fast, mobile-friendly and you can edit it, we may improve it instead. If it is slow or hard to change, a new site usually pays back faster.
Is there a contract?
There is no lock-in. Terms such as notice periods are set out in writing in your proposal.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and water heater contractors add GST or HST for their province, or GST and QST in Quebec.
What does the free trial include?
A digital marketing audit, a website performance check, an SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking, over seven days, with no credit card required.
